That must be one stubborn dog! LOL.

He is a lovely dog, friendly to everyone and very mild-mannered, but not bright. Not at all bright.

He is, however, excellent at sniffing things and at barking at squirrels and rabbits. Also eating. He eats. Everything!

Good dog, Dude!

He has an amazing affinity for small children. He must meet every one of them. He will walk up very slowly, and then he lowers his head as he reaches the child. Even infants in strollers break into large smiles when he shows up.

He'll let small children pull his ears, poke him in the eye and do anything they wish to him, while his tail goes around like a helicopter rotor. And for some reason, children never see him as anything but a big friendly creature. It's pretty amazing.

A nice, mid-sized, happy, goofy doggie. That's Dude.
