I came across this post from Ancestry CEO on their blog:
https://blogs.ancestry.com/ancestry/2017/08/17/standing-united/
He called it "Standing United" and wrote it after the Charlottesville event. He said Ancestry supports "diversity, unity, and acceptance." He also wrote that Nazis looking to use their ethnicity tests to show purity should take their business elsewhere.
Amazingly, many of the responses he received were very negative. I don't know if the alt-right decided to bash him or what, but a lot of the comments seemed to be saying he was being political and it ought not be done. I believe that was just an excuse from conservatives or worse alt-right-ers or Nazis themselves. I think it is okay for corporations to try to show some human decency.
The whole attack seems quite unfair. Some posters even called for his job in the blog post responses.
Now obviously I wouldn't want to escalate the hatefest the post created, but I wonder if anyone here who is a customer of ancestry wouldn't mind giving a little support in the blog, like a thumbs up or something...if you want to, of course.
Please do check the link anyway.
Thank you.

Alas, I perceive my actual ethnicity to be quite boring, which is why I haven't done it
