How many turning points? How many lines crossed? How low can he go?

At this point, my fear is just complete, irreparable damage to our country....or worse, an itchy finger on the button if he feels it is all closing in on him.

It has now been president for 218 days. Somehow each day is worse than the one before it.

Meanwhile, people - lots of people - are, or will be, getting hurt - and as we've seen, some worse.

Has there ever been such an impotent response by our so-called elected public servants?

we're the 'frog in the pan of water' parable where the temperature keeps going up but gradually enough so that we're not inspired to get out. Each of Dumpy's instances of taking a crap on the law and the values of this nation has merely served to accustom us to it, normalizing our reaction to the next rejection to acceptable behavior by our so-called 'President'. Between the abysmal ignorance of some 25% of our fellow citizens who would support Trump if he sodomized a chicken before a crowd of Brownie Scouts and another 20+% who couldn't give less of a shit if Charles Manson was President our "Legislators" understand that there's no up side to challenging Dumpy. The Rethugs will hang on to get whatever they can before it's (finally) over and the Dems will go on the talk shows and wring their hands without any semblance of leadership. And the water continues to get hotter, and hotter...

and not getting anything he wanted done. I would expect him to quit or be impeached.
There will be no easy way out for dumpster-fire-don.

and even that won't ultimately be the low point of his administration.

is that we've seen nowhere near the worst of it all. Imagine Trump being sucked into an impeachment trap, he'll pardon anybody that he wants to while he still officially has the power. And nothing at all can reverse that, it's way more powerful than an executive order that can be overturned by a future president, or done away with by a super-majority in Congress.
