It looks to me like there is a big crack forming in the Republican Party over how Romney should deal with the the Bain debacle. One group of Republicans -- called "the bedwetters" by Romney's campaign -- are calling on Romney to release his tax returns, which they must know is tentamount to calling on Romney to commit political suicide. The other group of Republicans with outstanding truth-tellers like Ed Gillespie are doubling down on the lies and deceit, trying their best to provide cover for Romney and apparantly declaring their determination to ride the Romney train all the way off the cliff. Which side will Rush Limbaugh take?

(129,142 posts)but he'll probably frame it by using Rove's false accusation about Kerry's returns and include other similar lies that no one will be allowed to refute on the air.

(24,689 posts)He said it didnt matter when Romney quit or didnt quit and this is all a bunch of lying liberals trying to take the focus away from Obama's failed policies... or something along those lines.
He sounded a bit more perturbed than usual. I think he knew this is big and was going to escalate.
