I just met my Congressman (R-Mich) and told him a thing or two

Yes, none other than Fred Upton from St. Joseph, MI, whom W. used to demean with the nickname, "Freddie Boy." I was walking in downtown Kalamazoo when I saw him on the street curb. As I passed him I looked him in the face, and yep, sure enough, it was Freddie Boy. A step or two past him, I turned and called, "Mr. Upton!" He had already started to cross the street, but he turned and I walked up to him and grabbed his hand. I had on business casual attire, as did he.

"I'm ________ _____ from Kalamazoo," I said. "I just hope you will support impeachment for our president at the soonest possible moment."

Well, he wrenched loose from my grasp without a word and continued on his way. Had I been quicker-witted, I should have called after him, "Party over country!" In fact, what I wish I had said to him while I had hold of his hand was, "Why are you supporting party over country in the face of treason?"

But I only had a moment's notice to think of something. : b

while letting him know he can't hide from people forever.

Well done. Anything more might have been too much.
