Addicks and Barker Reservoirs in Houston almost certain to overtop today.

Addicks was only a half inch from overtopping at dawn today and Barker was about four feet from overtopping. The big worry is that pressure could cause the dams to fail in the coming days.

Here is the beginning of a long twitter thread by climatologist/meteorologist Eric Holtaus, one of the first people to start loudly warning about 40+ inches of rain in the Houston area.
