How does Chump win in 2020 ?

Politics is about addition and not subtraction. He received 46% pf the popular vote. Is there any data that suggests there are people who didn't vote for him in 2016 that would vote for him now ? No. Is there data that suggests there are people who voted for him in 2016 that would vote against him now ? Yes.

Politics is also about division to be blunt, but if you are a demagogue intent on dividing the nation it behooves you to get the bigger share. There are miscreants and yahoos who dig Klansmen and NAZIS but there are a lot more people who don't.

Remember he pulled the political equivalent of a Royal Flush. He lost the popular vote by 3,000, 000 voters and won the archaic Electoral College by 80,000 votes. His incredible luck was our nation's incredible bad luck.

Can Chump get re-elected ? The fact he got elected should give anybody who counts Chump out pause. However at this point it's more likely than not he doesn't.

And don't forget Robert Mueller is lurking.

gerrymandering, more Crosscheck. Count on it.

Now, whether Trump is going to want to run in 2020, that's another question. I think the Presidency bores him, and he may take his money and run.

and demonization of our candidate as either a "socialist" or a "corporate sell-out", depending on who we nominate. Hell, who knows? Perhaps they can even make both labels stick. Things don't have to make sense in Amerika.

Here is how Fuckump will be president in 2020.

1. The democrats run an 80 year old candidate, or a 75 year old candidate, or even a 65 year old candidate and the young voters don't turn out.

2. The fat lazy older democrat couch potato voters decide its easier to watch reruns of Family Feud then get out and vote.

3. The Democrat candidates that are going against Fuckump decide the best way to win is too ignore the white lower/middle class citizens in red states and then get pissed when they lose those states.

4. The party gets caught up in another Bernie/ Hillary deal and 12-15 % of the one side goes for the Jill Steins of the world.

anything else? most likely yes... Electoral college..whatever, but look at the states that more then likely the democrats can count on that went red... PA, Ohio, Wis.....this needs to change. The candidate needs to get into these and other red states and win this...not counting on this though. The democrats are not strong.

Exactly! Come election time, no one will be voting over Confederate Statues or Trump's racism.

People vote for jobs, security for their families, and safety. If the primary message of the Democrats isn't about American jobs, then we lose.

I can tell you plenty of Texas Dems get so frustrated that we always get overlooked and ignored by national candidates and the DNC. We are trying our hardest to turn Texas blue but it is an uphill battle when being ignored and overlooked as impossible to win so why even bother attitude. I have heard plenty of people say what is the point of donating to the DNC when TX never gets any funds and it is better to donate to the TX Dems directly instead.

We will as always keep fighting the good fight in Texas!

the rolls, intimidation tactics to keep people from coming to the polls, and a constant drumbeat of propaganda.

Oh and outright election fraud. Don't discount that one.

Despite having two recessions and a terrorist attack happen on their watch, The GOP and John McCain at one point polled EVEN with future President Barack Obama after McCain brought The Womb of the 4ChaNazis on the ticket.

In other words, despite a lion's share of them losing progress, some losing lives, some losing careers . . . they were STILL willing to keep giving them another chance. Nearly 58 million of their voters saw no problem with the possibility of President Alt-Right Soccer Mom.

Never underestimate the power of a whole shit-ton of people who steadfastly refuse to take the bullet of error admission.

Dubya also had a ninety percent approval rating at one point in his tenure:

Also, Karl Rove was smart enough not to divide the nation on issues where his guy would get the infinitely smaller share. And Bush's tenure was nowhere as chaotic as this one. America will need a rest.

Not by any nefarious means but heart attack or maybe a stroke will disable him further.
His habits are not the best. Eating all that crap along with the stress could do him in.

Plus everyone I know is praying for that. Maybe the power of prayer will work. Kinda tongue in cheek on this part.

their spending billions on election, but not on building the mass media needed to reach into rural America. The republicans have a 25 year head start and their message machine seems to Trump logic itself at the moment...
