Scarborough: Trump didn't think he would win, campaign was 'money-making scam'

The Hill:

MSNBC's Joe Scarborough on Tuesday said President Trump never expected to win the White House.

"Donald Trump never thought he was going to win the presidency," Scarborough said on MSNBC's "Morning Joe."

"This was all a money-making scam. He thought Jeb Bush was going to beat him."

Scarborough said Trump was going to "take the money and run."

Everything 45 does... EVERYTHING, is a money making scam.
As people over the weekend were drowning, he sat at a desk looking busy and changed his USA hats...now available at the Traitors R Us swag store... so he could feature one in white and one in red.
WHY ARE THE MSM NOT CALLING FOR HIS REMOVAL FORM OFFICE RIGHT FUDGING NOW?

Even the channels the uneducated call "liberal" (hint: when 7 corporations control 90% of what you hear and see . . . ain't no such THING).

Trainwreck presidencies = ratings bonanza. Doesn't matter if the stories are pro- or anti-. They're all just waiting to see what he's going to destroy next.

Hispanic immigrants, and his numbers took off. I too don't think he thought he'd win the primaries until white wing racists got excited about his candidacy, and Trump and his staff were resigned to losing on November 8th based upon polls.

tRump ran for the Presidency, but he is a bit late to that realization. Many others suspected as much and no one was more surprised than Donald J. tRump himself. It was always about the money, name recognition and building his brand. I think one thing that happened along the way was the adulation and ass licking really appealed to tRump. It boosted his already inflated ego to astronomical proportions. He got a taste of fame on steroids and he liked it. He discovered thst the more outrageous his claims and hateful his statements, the more his fame grew. He had a distorted view of reality because he saw his rallies representing the majority of Americans and he started believing his own hype. With the help of the Russians, and assorted other kinds of cheating, he managed to pull off the win.

So like the dog that finally catches the wheel of the car he is chasing, tRump took hold of the job of being President. Now what? It explains perfectly why we are in the current mess. He no more intended to be President than he did of flying to the moon, but now that he has the job, he stumbles from one bad idea to another. His narcissism drives everything. He is likely more than a little miserable, especially as he contemplates what Mueller has in store for him. This would make for a crazy, popular mini-series if it was not happening in real life. Our country, our whole way of life hangs in the balance. Wish we could fast forward to the end to find out he is tried and convicted for his crimes so we can get about undoing the harm he has brought upon us.

It was a way to market his TV show The Apprentice and to maybe sell some more books. Plus to feed his ego. But once he was in I'm sure the fuel of nutty Trump fans really fueled the ego and more than the money was driving him.
