and all the other natural wonders that people love to hate. It seems that there is a lot of stuff floating the floodwaters that have been sequestered until now. This is going to take a long time for anything to become habitable in that region.

like you see in the OP--until they find something to latch onto (probably grass in this case). yes torch them if you can.
