I am disgusted Trump chose TODAY to talk corporate tax cuts. People are w/out food and clothing

in Texas. The mayor of Port Arthur is screaming that his entire city is under water -- they need help IMMEDIATELY. Even Faux News is showing devastating images of entire families who had to be evacuated within 45 minutes, who lost their shoes, jackets, belongings in the water. The children are shivering violently as volunteers are covering them with blankets and handing out water and crackers from sealed containers.

Two elderly women are being carried, while wrapped in blankets, by strong guys who are all VOLUNTEERS. Even the Faux News reporters are asking where the national guard is and where the gov help is that Trump promised "immediately." Every boat, and there are HUNDREDs, is run by a group of volunteers. They are communicating by walkie talkies and any cell phones that are working and the rescued are being taken to any local shelter that has room.

And this person who plays at being our president touched down here yesterday, yelled "what a crowd" as some people clapped for him, congratulated everybody at his little press photo op, which was a painful charade with Trump and Melania looking utterly ridiculous in Trump-sold "USA" and "FLOTUS" caps (seriously? They wore those caps to a FUCKING HURRICANE DISASTER AREA?!). And Trump decides to give a speech on his big corporate tax cut plan, and yes and how it will "simplify" taxes for everybody, TODAY -- for higher ratings? He knows people are watching teevee.

His people will say he HAD to give the speech today because congress is returning and what else could the poor, poor president do...the big mean press will criticize him. We know the truth. It's obvious in every little selfish gesture he makes. Does this man care about the people in Texas? It's obvious that he cares about his own crowds and his own ratings...
