Boycott ALL FoxNews advertisers?

A google search revealed this old, short list of Fox advertisers:
http://foxnewsboycott.com/fox-news-sponsors/fox-sponsors-a-l/

FoxNews is a right-wing propaganda machine that willfully misleads, inflames, and divides. My question is whether we on the left can realistically commit to voting with our dollars.

I'm imagining a form letter that customers/clients/consumers could send to advertisers letting them know our intent to boycott if they continue to financially support Fox.

Admittedly, the list left me a bit stressed at the idea of, for example, shredding my CapitalOne card, leaving AT&T, etc., but given the state of things, do we really have a choice?

My drop in the bucket won't move them, but our collective drops . . .

What say ye?

1. I get the feeling that few are willing to support boycotts at DU

Personally, I vote 24/7 with my wallet. I don't eat at Chic-Filet, Blooming Brands, Carl's Jr/Hardees, Burger King, Nestle, don't buy from Amazon, Hobby Lobby, and many many more.

and those that support Breitbart:

3. I don't think that's necessarily true. I think all of us were all over the Limbaugh boycott.

I vote with my wallet too, but it isn't enough. We need to call the advertisers en masse and tell them that we are boycotting and why.

I'll be working my way through that list for a while.

1) ineffective
2) waste of time
3) blah blah blah blah

I'm with you, we all do what we can on multiple fronts

7. Letters and calls would be key.

They'd get a warning that if they keep advertising there, we'll boycott. Some may pull there ads just from the mass warnings.

Next step is to boycott by letters/calls saying this is the reason I'm leaving AT&T or closing my CapitalOne card. The second phase would wake them up.

I think/guess that most boycotting would cause us inconvenience, not hardship. If we are unwilling to suffer even inconvenience, any verbal rage against fox rings hollow.

and some are customers we haul loads for! If I told my bosses that I'm boycotting these companies, I would be out of job like yesterday!

But even if you can only openly boycott 2 on the list, our 2s would add up. If we get a groundswell, advertisers will leave Fox in mass. At least that's my hope.
