Eric Trump Claims CNN Won't Cover His Dad's $1 Million Pledge ... Three Hours After They Did

by Justin Baragona | 8:01 pm, August 31st, 2017

During today’s White House press briefing, White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders told reporters that President Donald Trump had pledged $1 million of his personal money to help the victims of Hurricane Harvey.

Hours after the briefing, Eric Trump took to Twitter to link to a Fox News story on his father’s monetary pledge. And in posting the story, Eric Trump indicated that CNN and the rest of the mainstream media wouldn’t cover his dad’s generosity:

Only one little problem — CNN had acknowledged the pledge. Three hours earlier.

And beyond the online story, the network covered not only the press briefing live, but also mentioned it on air immediately after:

the "his personal money" is the fake part of the story. It will (if it ever actually does!) probably come from one of his charities or hotels or country clubs, but NOT from his own pocket (his little hands are already too busy in those!).

Most of us figure it's just another financial commitment he'll try to weasel out of. That's his style, isn't it?

Face it, he's not going to give any money. He'll take it out of his charitable foundation and call on others to donate into it.

Americans have already donated more than 100 Million dollars while he's debating what's the best time to announce his donation, ratings-wise.

Daddy Dumbest also claimed that CNN wasn't covering his oh-so-presidential speech . . . on CNN.

These overprivileged assholes are heavily in love with playing the victim, aren't they? Hard to believe how whiny they are.

Evidence has shown that he bragged about how much he was going to give to the 9/11 victims. To date, he has not donated one penny.
