(58,668 posts)but I expect the bots to be praising Trump to high heaven about his "generous donation."

(15,543 posts)That would certainly fit his lifelong pattern. Americans have not so much as a scrap of evidence that would incline us to trust or to believe the republican "leader." Waiting...waiting...waiting.

(63,221 posts)I have never seen a more hideous person in my life. The ugliness of his soul manifests on his face.

(9,426 posts)Where did he get the idea that he is something special? Ugly as sin, bloated face, orange peel skin, lots of chins, white rings around his eyes. Dear God, what a mess of a person he is. IF he had an iota of intelligence it might help, but he lacks that, too. Most repulsive person to come along the pike in years. I have seen serial killers who were much more attractive than this pile of puke. The gop owns this scab, lock stock and barrel.

(5,810 posts)we might believe him. But he does have a history and so why should we believe him now? Besides, as has been pointed out, if (and that is a BIG IF) tRump is as rich as he claims, a one million dollar donation from one so rich is like reaching in his pocket to drop the loose change in the Red Kettle at Christmas time. Nice gesture, but kind of pathetic if he was hoping to set an example.

(61,695 posts)There are a huge presence in Houston. The sooner things normalize, the sooner their employees can be more productive. Personally, I think and hope that their gift is in the tens of millions.

(7,218 posts)...the list was so long....I just did the million+ donors. There were a crap-ton of those who gave in the 6-figure range, and added they would do matching with their employees and sometimes customers.
There were several energy companies on the list I saw, but it could also be true Exxon just had not decided what to do.
I'm guessing they will. I'd bet Trump won't - unless cornered.
