Trump is floating aimlessly in a zero gravitas environment.

That's the perception I get whenever I see him forced into an area where he's out of his element. (In other words, not at a campaign styled rally or behind the wheel of a big rig truck.)

I saw his performance in the Oval Office today. Essentially, he just repeated the words "epic storm" several times, and then told Melania "Good job" for....um, what, talking?
