Tip for fact-checking images before posting them on DU

Before posting some amazing image from Twitter or some other source, take the time to right click the image and then click "Search Google for image." That's in Windows. You can also copy the link to the image and paste it into a google image search to look for other instances of that image. Look at where that image has appeared for guidance on whether or not to spread it further around the Internet.

That way, if the image is a hoax, you'll probably find debunking information about that image on Google. Who knows. Fact-checking might save you some embarrassment sometimes.
