Florida State University opened its garages to the Tallahassee public to protect their cars from Hurricane Irma.
But a car dealership took space away from students and residents when it moved its entire inventory into the garages on Friday, according to FSU.com.

Sunday evening, The Florida State University official Twitter account addressed the issue, and the cars were removed.
So far, the dealership has not commented.

(36,463 posts)Perhaps you can get permission to park on the golf course (remember, cars are to remain on the driving paths).

(14,860 posts)with a lot of undamaged cars for sale. Then they'd clean up selling them to the people whose cars got ruined. They wouldn't be able to do that if they had to wait around for an insurance claim and delivery of new inventory.

(26,582 posts)I worked at a car dealership a few years ago. When we had a bad thunderstorm with hail possible you'd be amazed how many cars they could fit on a showroom.
But this just makes them sound so shitty. I'd never buy a car from someone that did something like this. They're probably screwing over their sales people too.
