New health-care plan stumbles under opposition from governors

One can only hope - and keep calling!

https://www.washingtonpost.com/powerpost/renewed-obamacare-repeal-effort-dealt-a-blow-as-governors-come-out-in-opposition/2017/09/19/499478fe-9d51-11e7-9083-fbfddf6804c2_story.html?hpid=hp_hp-more-top-stories_healthcare-430pm-winner%3Ahomepage%2Fstory&utm_term=.9c02707e0fdb

Senate Republicans and the White House pressed ahead Tuesday with their suddenly resurgent effort to undo the Affordable Care, even as their attempt was dealt a setback when a bipartisan group of governors came out against their proposal.

The collective criticism from 10 governors arrived as Vice President Pence and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell tried to rally support for the bill, which is sponsored by GOP Sens. Bill Cassidy (La.), Lindsey O. Graham (S.C.), Dean Heller (Nev.) and Ron Johnson (Wis.).

But it was unclear whether the opposition would ultimately derail the attempt, as key Republican senators including Lisa Murkowski of Alaska said they had yet to make up their minds....

Nevertheless, Murkowski said Tuesday afternoon that she was still weighing her options and explained how her position on the bill might ultimately differ from her opposition to an earlier repeal bill that failed dramatically in July.

Obamacare so Bitch McConnell can get 'right again' with the Trumpenfuhrer (as well as getting the $$$ to finance the coming tax cut for the 1% ers). The only supposed holdouts are 1) Rand Paul, who I predict will fold like a cheap suit the minute it comes time to vote, 2) "Maverick" Johnny McCain who now, having gotten his 15 minutes of fame from an adoring audience will vote to support his BFF Miss Lindsey and 3) Lisa Murkowski (who has been promised oodles of $$ if she tows the party's line.) I hate to say it but I think we're really in deep shit with this one. Bastards. I hope they all rot in hell (starting with McCain).

WANTS people from out of state to call and voice their opinions!!!!! She said that she won't support a bill that cuts Planned Parenthood which this one does. I do not trust any of them. McConnell must have a win and will not give up. I have called almost 400 times since Jan/Feb and am sick and the mental stress of this BS from the GOP is adding to my physical and financial suffering. I HATE MCCONNELL and the GOP! Call Congress please!!(202)224-3121. Thank you!!!!
