Graham and Cassidy will be on full attack mcar Sep 2017 #4
Since Klobuchar wasn't a cosponsor I don't think the focus of the debate will be MFA Nanjeanne Sep 2017 #6

Klobuchar is the leader of that team. She can carry the weaker debater. nt LexVegas Sep 2017 #5

against the MFA plan. They will ignore questions about their travesty of a plan, or lie about it, and scream socialism!!11 for 90 minutes.

I hope Sens. Sanders and Klobuchar are up to the challenge of calling out their lies.

I think the focus will be on the Cassidy Graham bill -- no matter how hard C/G try to bring MFA up.

I don't feel confident that the moderators will hold G-C's feet to the fire. And they are skilled liars.

The focus must be on Graham and Cassidy's Just Die Already bill. Not the future, not single payer, but kill the bill.

Doing so requires knowing the bill in all its details that even Graham and Cassidy don't know. This is a golden opportunity if the focus is on the bill, with Klobuchar and Bernie taking G & C apart, piece by piece.

However, Bernie is not a details guy. My fear is that he will command the stage, talk about nothing but single payer and universal coverage, and we'll miss our chance to destroy Graham and Cassidy and their bill.

Graham has already publicly stated that Bernie's recent public speeches on single payer have helped their cause. And he's made hay with it. "It's Bernie's socialism or federalism," he's said and that will be his response to the points that Bernie will make. He will scare away people who have doubts about the bill but aren't ready to embrace Medicare for all.

So overall, hoping for the best, but not optimistic.

focused about exactly how dreadful this bill is. And he has been speaking, tweeting and writing about it constantly. I think he will be just fine -- certainly no where as good as a real Democrat would be.

They were both chosen because Dem leadership think they're both right for this task.

I can't wait to watch. The two Dems ooze authenticity, Graham is a smarmy fucker. Who is declared "the winner" will be decided on whose perceived as telling the American people the truth as well as knowledge of the details. Sanders especially has been honing his chops in red district town halls for the past year.I'm betting a million dollars on our people.
