Graham-Cassidy bill includes pork for Alaska and Wyoming.

Remember that the Alaskan Senator voted no on the last Repub bill, along with McCain & Collins? She voted that way because of the Medicaid issue.

THIS new bill has a cap on Medicaid...except for Alaska and Wyoming. This exemption from the cap is buried in the bill, and obviously put there to get Alaskan Wysowski's vote.

(Note: I think Wyoming is the other state. Don't know that Senator, but I assume Wyoming Senator is on the fence.)

Barasso is one of the foulest and nastiest pieces of work you will ever see and is a prime example of the type who is into "doctorin' for the money."

He was able to get a new hospital out of the bill. It is pathetic that any Senator or Congress member can have their votes bought. I wish these people pass a law to do away with any pork bill added to these sensitive bills. But, wishful thinking on my part, I know!

7. Oh, I found it. That amendment was removed, so it didn't fly. No new hospital.

It was Reid who put that in, to try and buy Nelson off. It worked. But the House of Rep & others removed it, as being unfair to the other states. Nelson voted for it anyway.

9. No, it wasn't. It was removed. Yes, he left. But not because of his vote for ACA.

He said that people were saying he'd lose, and it's true his approval rating took a big hit, but the polls showed that he'd win comfortably. He'd had enough of Congress. He was a moderate and both parties had become extreme, so he was super stressed out, being one of the few moderates.

He went into some private business or something.

12. I was going to say thanks, that I knew it wasn't quite right...until I saw the snarky part.

We are all on the same side, and we need to get everyone's vote on this, so being polite in your posts, when OP has done nothing rude to you, is not too much to ask.
