McCain to Trump: "Fuck You....Again"

There is no question in my mind that Senator John McCain hates Donald Trump's guts.

It's my contention that McCain came to Washington in July to cast the procedural vote necessary to move to the formal vote so that McCain could say "fuck you" in the most dramatic fashion. I guess revenge is a dish best served cold.

I think this time, the Arizona Senator gave an early "fuck you" in deference to his friend, Lindsey Graham in order to reduce the embarrassment to his long time ally. Even this friendship was not enough to change McCain's vote, but enough to ease the pain.

I think that McCain and his daughter, Meaghan, hate Trump so much, that when the long time war hero and Senator passes, Trump may not even be invited to the funeral. If the President* is, he certainly will not be allowed to speak. In fact, my bet is that former President Barack Obama may very well do the eulogy.

If the old adage that "the enemy of my enemy is my friend", then John McCain is my best friend. I thought nobody could hate Donald Trump more than I do, but apparently John McCain does.

1. Gee, every so often I find myself in lockstep with John McCain.

This would be one of those times. I'd guess he and his daughter hate trump more than I do, for his personal attack on McCain's POW past. But it's a close call.

I use the words "my contention" and "I think" enough in a few paragraphs that that fact shouldn't be lost on anyone.

19. My comment is I doubt McCain bothers to hate Rump.

Does one bother to hate a dog that turns out to be so emotionally unstable that it can't be kept as a family pet?

Rump has a serious personality disorder, or at very least such strong traits of one that psychologists argue whether he is clinically diagnosable. He is not insane, he can understand right and wrong when he puts his mind to it but his disorder does not allow him to function normally and almost certainly affects cognition. For instance, he may only have a primitive conscience that warns him that he could be getting in trouble but is not capable of feeling guilty, or no conscience at all. Emotionally, he's arrested in childhood. He has a pathologic inability to focus and extremely short attention span that cripples his ability to learn and understand. And this has all probably gotten worse under the strains of the presidency, as many expected.

We all see evidence of this virtually every day as Rump cluelessly demonstrates his deficiencies on a world stage. This buffoon will literally never be capable of understanding that his best ever reality show is a tragicomedy.

I'm no admirer of McCain, but I give him credit for understanding this.

6. The republican Draft-Dodger-in-Chief should insult some more veterans and POWs

Insulting honorable veterans helped draft-dodging Comrade Casino gain the votes of republicans and russians alike. Maybe it will help him now with the freaking republican TrumpCare clusterwank.

McCain teased the vote last time, and did the procedural thing beforehand, specifically to fuck the rest of the republicans.

11. I'm thrilled about the outcome, but not the reason for it

McCain voting the right way for a personal grudge, rather than out of conviction still makes me nervous.

Don't get me wrong, I'm all for knocking the knees out from under Trump when he bullies someone (which is most of the time), but I wish McCain would make clear that he is doing this for the sake of a few dozen million of his countrymen, and not because the guy in the Oval Office was an asshole toward him, or because he disagreed on parliamentary procedure.

He wants to show the Kochs that he tried hard, so he'll get his donor dollars. But he knew McCain would save him from accountability.

If you do than you are a blind fool with no memory. They are owned by the mega rich donors who are putting the screws to them as I write this. Joy Reid reported last night that her GOP insiders told her this. They have one more week. Stay vigilant and keep calling Congress (202)224-3121 non stop until Oct 1st. Besides pressure from the donors who have already invested millions into buying votes from the GOP for their tax cuts McConnell needs a win badly. He is cruel, sneaky and smart and will stop at nothing to get his desired win. Remember Gorsuch?! This is not over by a long shot. We all know they live for $$$ and would sell their own granny for a quick buck. They are unethical and corrupt through and through. Keep calling Congress...please!

15. Barrack Obama might do the eulogy...
Fri Sep 22, 2017, 06:39 PM
Sep 2017

I think that would be fitting; here's why:
I think McCain was genuinely proud of his Country the night he lost, and I suspect he's hated the deplorables for many years. He understood he needed their votes to keep his place in the Senate, and I'll cop to him being a decent enough politician to keep winning that seat. I think he very truly respected Obama for the man that he is, and what he accomplished with his historic Presidential win, even if he did actually disagree with him on policy. That Barrack could have a chance to be President, I think is what McCain likely thinks was the reason he fought and suffered as he did for his Country...The BEST parts of it; not the worst.

I agree that McCain hates who Trump is, and hates even more that the tangerine idi amin chose his REPUBLICAN PARTY to be the vehicle of his every crass and detestable action.
McCains concession speech was the best he's ever delivered. I have it framed and hung on the wall next to Obamas Yes We Can victory speech from that night. I know others here will disagree, but i think McCain deserves that from me.

the eulogy is usually someone who one would consider to be close to them. and i don't think they would consider themsleves to be close friends. yes, they do have respect for each other but it's not like obama and biden.

in mccain's case it would probably be graham or maybe even lieberman or any number of people who he close to him.

good to get rid of ACA and implement something else the way it's being done.

he no longer has to worry about re-election .

and he is currently dealing with and getting treatment for a serious illness most people who are going through that probably would be less likely to want to take health care away from others during that time.
