Fox TV pregame

Jay Glazer - players were "shocked" then "angry". One game may feature the two teams locking arms around the singer of the anthem to show unity. Trump may have inadvertently United the country...against him.

Bradshaw (Trump supporter) I am shocked that I have to comment on someone I supported. Attacking individuals like this is out of bounds

Howie Long - great speech about empathy for black fathers and their children. His son Chris (now on the Eagles) will not kneel but he puts his hand on the shoulder of teammates who do. He and his wife also started a 6 scholarships at UVA to honor Heather Heyer. Chris went to UVA. Howie, by the way, was basically an orphan when he was growing up.

Strahan - my father is a retired US Army soldier. This is not about the flag of the anthem it's about abuse inequality and justice. The rest is made up to divide us.

These comments are insightful and tell su a bit more about each host.

Bradshaw is full of it...attacking individuals is out of bounds? Candidate Dump committed flagrant, countless individual attacks on Individuals (ROsie, Gold Star family, Tur, etc etc.). So how disgusting for Bradshaw to be offended when Dump finally got around to football players.

But the other hosts, Excellent comments.

in the world. Be happy he came around to see the light-however dimly. Terry is not exactly a genius. Not everyone is enlightened either. Sometimes it takes personalization of an issue to wake you up.

Jimmie Johnson seems to be missing the point. He said they shouldn't do anything before the game because it would take away from their performances. Jimmy seems to have forgotten these are professionals. They hit the field they are there to do there jobs, they won't tank a game to make a point, they will go all out as they are paid to do.

I am a bit confused how he can sit there clueless when he coached African-American players, those that made him rich, and be clueless to what they have been through. What their kids and their friends go through, too bad he didn't listen to the panel.

The singer of the national anthem kneeled at the very end as he sang the last line, "home of the brave." He bowed his head and held his right hand above him in protest.
