The normalization of hate, lying and racism has deeply saddened me

The irrational loathing and smearing of Hillary Clinton is part of this atrocity. Facts have lost currency. Lies and smears have gained an edge.

Even if you hate Hillary Clinton, you have to admit that 99% of the crap thrown at her was false. So how far from that effort is the effort to smear blacks, Jews, LGBT, Muslims, or whomever the enemy du jure may be?

It's the lies and the anti-intellectualism, and the anti-government, and whatever other irrational hatred that exists that is the real enemy.

You either get your way or is is just forgotten.
Yet, they made it one of the 10 Commandments.
What were they thinking?

I don't get it. Most of the perpetuators of the lies and smears hurt themselves the more than their purported targets.

looking backward? We need to look forward, only forward!

We should never think back and analyze why two, possibly three elections in less than 20 years were stolen from us! I mean, why waste our time doing that when the solution is SO simple! We only need to get a charismatic, flawless, popular SUPERSTAR candidate who will wipe the floor with trump. It's that easy!

So just forget everything you wrote in your post. Don't mention her unless you say she was a bad candidate who ran an awful campaign.
Comey, Putin, voter suppression, gerrymandering, the media, misogyny (if the candidate is a woman) ...no problem! our 2020 SUPERSTAR candidate will breeze through all that and win!

(just in case)
