Trump might have just helped the NFL boost their ratings

Before trump it was one guy kneeling last year, protesting police violence, dude lost his job, isnt working and no one is even really talking about the issue any more.

Then trump opens his big fat pie hole and the story has changed. its no longer one guy fighting city hall its trump vs all of the nfl. trump against the 1st amendment. trump showing racial insensitivity.

I can only imagine how many people tuned in today to see how the players would react. And react they did. Trump seems to have united the entire nfl against him.

i hope the nfl ratings do get a boost just as a big fuck you to trump.

I live streamed the early game broadcast on Yahoo to my laptop and left the house to do some shopping while it played. I had my spare TV play the Falcons/Lions then the Chiefs/Chargers. Right now it is on in the other room playing the Raiders/Washington game. I have not watched any of those games though (I'll wait until tomorrow to watch a replay of my Vikings playing Tampa Bay on Game Pass).

I am a Nielsen household and I am doing my part to bump up the ratings for the NFL this weekend only to prove Trump wrong. I can protest in the privacy of my own home by helping boost ratings of something I wouldn't typically watch. Strange times we live in.
