I honestly this is his FU to NASCAR it is well know Jr was an avid pc gamer and that a lot of his friends were from the more left of center. He has stated many times that NASCAR needs to be more diverse.

Since NASCAR put it it's stupid playoffs the decline in popularity is noticeable. Tracks have cut to one race a year, the hottest races show empty seats . I rarely watch a race now mostly just to catch up.

I was only an active NASCAR fan when I lived in the SE but Little E was always my favorite driver. Class act. I'm sorry he's retiring at a relatively young age for a driver but I think I get why.

But his statement makes me wonder if he could be recruitable for public office as a Democrat. All I'd be concerned about is if he believes in a woman's right to choose and universal health care. I think he'd be a formidable candidate to say the least and his tweet here makes him sound pretty liberal.
