It's no longer about "taking a knee" and staying on it for the entire national anthem.

Getting on knee and getting back up is a show of solidarity for people who want to take a knee.

It also sends a direct signal to Trump.

If he gloats, he has nothing to gloat about.

but this is masterfully played. Somehow you need to take away the binary of Trump vs. kneeling. I have always thought it was counterproductive, but did not get bent either way about it. I have friends, some of them liberal, who are angry about kneeling during the National Anthem. Those friends have served in our military (along with several of my conservative friends who are also angry about it).

Jones could follow up with a large contribution to a PAC lobbying for changing the procedures related to investigating LEO shootings. Also scholarships for disadvantaged African Americans etc.

But, yeah, let's keep talking about who stood up, who knelt, and where their hands were for that couple of minutes before a sporting event. I have no freaking idea how the rotting mango can think this is worth talking about.

What amazes hell outta me is the huge amount of shit raining down all around us, and all he could manage to be upset about--or even really notice--was what position football players took for a couple of minutes prior to a sporting event. The fundamental issue of cops killing black people then walking free completely eluded him. The fact that we had (still have) other brown skinned or Spanish speaking Americans fighting to survive was nothing he could recognize.

THAT was what my comment was about.

Apologies if it sounded like I did.

I just meant that all that is going on is.. intentional disruption of democracy in America..
We also need to remember that we are in a war and the other guys are engaging in what is called NON-LINEAR WARFARE.
https://www.theatlantic.com/international/archive/2014/11/hidden-author-putinism-russia-vladislav-surkov/382489/

I have been posting variations on the these points below all week and think we really need to see or remember that something else is going on ...

...............
It doesn't matter, in a way, what it is each day, or what happens tomorrow.( Of course it MATTERS.) But there is a reason for what is happening.)
It goes much deeper than that...
It is NON-LINEAR WARFARE.

PR, POC, immigrants, NFL, library books, grocery store selling diapers on the wrong day.. nothing matters to the enemy in this battle... EXCEPT disruption... disruption of society. disruption of government.

It is intended to be too much for a person to absorb... exhausting, distraction-- THAT IS THE WHOLE POINT. Confusion, get people to just give up.

It is a tactic to bring down western democracy!!
Well, WE WON"T GIVE UP.

We need to deal with the day to day insanity, but at the same time, and maybe even MORE importantly, keep our eyes focused on the big picture of what is happening..

Vladislav Surkov, Alexander Dugin- look them up.. plus Putin and Bannon and others..
