He tried to attach himself and his shit bill to it thinking kimmel will just be happy at him saying 'Jimmy Kimmel test' without knowing about details. After all he is just at host and wealthy do it's not like the bill will affect him.

Didn't think Kimmel would actually feel so strongly about it.

on obamacare and leaves out the part where they are rich. He says the $39,000 is the status quo as if everybody will pay that. Plus he has black predator pupils. Lindsay Graham has been snowed. He seems to have no idea that hundreds of thousands of seniors 50 to 65 will die because they cannot afford healthcare once they have a preexisting condition. Which is the main point in all 4 GOP plans.

This hasn't dawned on many people who are in that age group, healthy and have insur through their employer. I was a teacher until I became ill and had to stop (without healthcare of course) and know very well how every penny I saved on my small teacher salary for 15 years was used up almost immediately. Now my healthcare costs will come out of HER and my 83 year old parents' savings. Do you have any idea how shitty I feel about that?! Fortunately I will die sooner rather than later and they won't have to spend all of it on me. In the meantime I have once again been calling and crying to Congressional phone staffers in the House and Senate off and on for 8 months now. The GOP is slowly but surely killing me by adding more stress which adds to my physical issues. This is purposeful genocide of Americans!

BUT thank you for such a compliment. I DO feel patriotic when I attend rallies, attend nationwide phone conferences sponsored by many resistance groups, and talk to total strangers about the idiot in chief (it comes up a lot since I wear my home made Lock Him Up earrings and pins whenever I go out).

under any GOP bill to date, all normal inheritances of the 99% are further gone than they are today.

So many people in this country don't know that Medicaid doesn't pick up nursing home bills until you exhaust your assets. And nursing homes cost multiple thousands per MONTH.

It's terrifying how ignorant people are in this country about the things that WILL EVENTUALLY affect them. Maybe not today or tomorrow, but sure as the sun rises, they will LOSE IT ALL to the nursing homes. And Medicaid is the only thing helping them after that. I am flat-out astounded by how uninformed so many people are about these things.

However, real life has a way of picking up the slack. Wait until the Xers who voted for this fool finally figure out what Medicaid does when their Boomer Moms and Dads need help.

It is not going to be pretty.

As long as GOPers who said they will vote No, stick with that, we are good for a few months. Our Senators did score points and Sanders introduced Public Option and lowering age for Medicare. Hopefully, white wingers will start thinking we have to do something in that direction.

But GOPers scored with local level junk, that Sen K opened the door. Even Clinton recognized in early 1990s that a lot of people would be afraid of turning things over to Feds. I'm the opposite in that I live in a red state that couldn't even bring itself to expand Medicaid to help poor. That's the crud white wingers do.

Until we take back Congress and Presidency, we will get nowhere unless Trump has a heart transplant from someone who cares.

35. Both Sanders & Klobuchar missed major opporunities to kneecap Repub lies and bullshit
Tue Sep 26, 2017, 02:52 AM

I missed the closing statements bkz my recording stopped at the 1.5 hour mark, but i found the Democratic "team' frustrating in their lack of energy shutting these clowns and the Repub lies down.

First off, one of the repubs opened with bragging that their bill would stop not only the individual Mandate BUT THE EMPLOYER MANDATE.Crickets from the Dem side, they should yave jumped all over this. Screamed from the rafters that this crap bill effects everybody, not just Medicaid & private market. EVERYBODY who has Employer provided insurance is threatened too, bkz their employers can now opt out or, if they stay in, just sewer shop for coverage since essential benefits mandate of Obamacare would be overturned. Republicans have done a masterful job making Americans think this only applies to a sliver of the population ; it effects everybody cradle to grave.

The two major points that Cassidy and Graham kept repeating ad nauseum were that Obamacare has failed,is "imploding," and that state governments are more responsive and compassionate to delivering healthcare than "bureaucrats" in Washington:

Neither K nor S mentioned that Obamacare is struggling because of the dugin sabotage of the Republicans, starting with (Rubio's assault) renegging on risk corridor payments and stretching all the way to just out and out refusing to make even minor changes to improve the ACA, especially easy fixes like graduating the income cliff where subsidies for the middle class end. Even the CBO has stated that Obamacare's not failing, it is being rigged and destabilized by the Republicans. As comdians have said, if the toilet in your house doesn't work, you don't torch the whole house.

As far as the Repub "states rights" argument, neither Klobuchar nor Sanders said flat out that (19?) Republican controlled states flat out refused to give their (supposedly beloved citizens the free federally funded Medicaid Expansion. They flat out refused to take money to give millions of their own Americans heathcare. Why would anyone Ever,Ever trust a Republican state that has demonstrated this level of contempt for their citizens to knowledgeably much less humanely deliver healthcare?
BTW didn't Brownbach even try to divert medicaid funds to plug up sinking "supply side" government?

This debate was really frustrating to me. Americans simply do not understand what Republicans have done and what they plan to do...which is a disaster for everyone. There was such low hanging fruit, like the "$39,000" family bill, which is probably on a combined income of $400,000., so still less thabn 10% But there was also a failure of our team here to actually educate and inform and shut down once and for all this Repubs agenda to take healthcare away from the many to give hundreds of billions in tax breaks to the few, i.e. their uber wealthy funders like the Koch Bros.

He was a doctor in a public hospital in LA?
