Did the Dallas Cowboys do something profound?

They kneeled prior to the Anthem to separate from Trump's associating kneeling with the flag and country.

They drew attention to what this it's really about...race based injustice.

Am I seeing this correctly?

Offend their fan base during anthem but also wanted to make some gesture. Hope you are right and my first thought wrong

The Whole Point Was To Kneel "DURING" the National Anthem .

I hate the Cowboys and Jerry Jones. Jones is creepy as hell. He walked by me during a football game last year in Minnesota. He totally gives off the creepy vibe. But I have to give credit for this. Jones is all about the attention. But good on the players. It will be interesting to see what happens at the Cowboys next home game.
