Trump at private dinner on NFL feud: 'It's really caught on' ...this fucker is insane.

Washington (CNN)President Donald Trump sounded very satisfied with his recent remarks on patriotism and the NFL in a dinner with conservative group leaders at the White House Monday night, according to a person who attended the event.

"It's really caught on. It's really caught on," Trump said of his NFL comments to attendees at the dinner, according to someone who attended. "I said what millions of Americans were thinking."

"You could really tell he was satisfied," this person in the room said about the President's comments.

Trump was referencing his crusade over the weekend in which he harshly criticized players who kneel during the national anthem. Many players who have done so have said they are protesting police brutality.

He is proud of his willful ignorance and delights when people express their own pride in their own willful ignorance, because that expression takes the form of them thinking Trump is ever so wonderful for validating their racism and making them feel right and just in their beliefs.

I fucking hate Trump and his supporters. I'm not coddling a racist in hopes they vote a certain way.

Ignorance is curable but these folks don't want to be cured. Their ignorance is too much a part of who they are as people and they cling to it. The more you point out where their thinking goes wrong, the more defensive they get, the more they cling.

When you try to point out a fact that contradicts what they want to believe, they call it an attack on their person. They want their ignorance treated as valid, as the equal to facts.

Fuck'em all.

when he thought that he invented the phrase, "prime the pump..."

Donald Trump thinks he invented the phrase 'priming the pump.' That's telling.

TRUMP: Have you heard that expression used before? Because I haven't heard it. I mean, I just...I came up with it a couple of days ago and I thought it was good. It's what you have to do.
