Puerto Rico population is over 75% white

according to the 2010 census:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/White_Puerto_Ricans

I had to use a Wikipedia link because the census link had the RACE stats X out.

Also September 15 to October 15th is Hispanic Heritage Month:
https://www.opm.gov/blogs/Director/2017/9/22/Celebrating-Hispanic-Heritage-Month/

Regardless of who lives on the island of Puerto Rico, we need to get aid to them. Now, rather than later.

Here is a 5 day old link to how all the countries and islands are coping:

https://www.theguardian.com/world/2017/sep/21/caribbean-islands-hurricane-irma-maria-puerto-rico

The death toll from the storm is miraculously low, but if the supplies aren't brought in, and people can't get medical care, or food or water, people will die.

If trump is ignoring Puerto Rico because of his racism, once again his ignorance is harming millions. Loathsome.

I'm not sure what the point of this is, but remember there was no selection available for Hispanic.

because 'they are brown people'. He's wrong again, and his base is stereotyping states, commonwealths and nations because of their ignorance. That's entirely what I am aiming at.

Before I posted, I clicked on the info dot on the census report and there is a long explanation for the race section, including that Hispanic is a cultural heritage. I don't understand why the % are X out on the official census.

which is why I did not criticize the census in any way, shape, or form.

Why, when dealing with the failure of Trump (with his history of cultural and ethnic bigotry) to provide for the people of Puerto Rico, would one not note the ethnicity of the people he is allowing to suffer?

in the 2010 U.S. Census.

I am posting Puerto Rican census information only because of headlines about trump being a racist, that he is ignoring the desperate plight of U.S. citizens, and showing once again, his ignorance of his own country and the world. It doesn't matter what color or race, Puerto Ricans need help now. Their previous economic status doesn't matter, their race doesn't matter, cripe, their nationality doesn't matter. They need help to survive.

Be terrific if they filled their cruise ships with supplies and people to help the islands. Those cruise ships are gigantic.
