Ah yes, the good old days...

President Obama took the First Lady to a play in New York in May 2009. The Right Wing Noise Machine (Drudge, Limbaugh, Fox, Murdoch's newspapers) wen't absolutely BAT-SHIT over this appalling WASTE OF MONEY. (I have to admit, even though I strongly supported Obama, I found it pretty hard to defend that one.)

And now, what does the famous Right Wing Noise Machine say about a President that flies to New York EVERY WEEK? ---crickets--- They're saying about as much as they say about Trump's gang using private email servers.

"Taxpayers footed the bill for the big night on the town, which included orchestra seat tickets at $96.50 apiece, and at least $24,000 for each of three aircraft — including two smaller aircraft for White House staff and reporters — used for the trip, sources said.
