In the Era of Trump, Corporations that are Monopolies don't need to do a Damn thing.

I was told by AT&T to wait, the entire day, because they don't know when the technician will come out, and waited the entire day for my internet service to be updated, with faster speed for downloads and uploads, which by the way, I am paying extra for, and I was instructed to be home, and wait for their call , to tell me they are on the way.

Of course this didn't happen, and when I called, today to find out why no one came, (Its now 5:30 pm) No one there had any clue, nor knew anything about my account and told me that yes i have to wait the entire day, again for someone to come out, at their leisure.

I asked what guarantee will you give me, that someone will show up tomorrow? They said, "well we deeply apologize and will promise you someone will be out tomorrow." . Right .... Do you really think a multi-billion dollar company gives one flip about long term customers and keeping their promises?

Look what they ask me to do. To spend the entire day waiting for their promised service and not one bothers to show up, nor does anyone know about my case. Its like I was talking to someone who was totally clueless of what to do, or cared enough to follow through... They Know they are the only internet provider for this area, and so Its not like I can threaten to go to some competition and make them move their asses to do the work that was promised.

Today I made them give me an order number so when I call back tomorrow, I have some reference number that they can use to go directly too, that is, provided the customer service agent didn't make up a number in his head up, to appease me.

so, wtf, AT&T, in the Era of Trump, I am guessing you can sit on your proverbial asses and just collect money, and let your technicians do whatever the fuck they want... go to the beach, spend time in the park, and wait for some real disaster to happen, so you can charge more money for repair work.

"Socialist" protections via consumer laws. The same regulations that the republicans would like to eliminate to their own peril as well.

Technically my time to wait, is money too. But we have no regress as a Corporation could simply cut me off, if I am too loud about the service that they provide. They can simply say, you don't like it ,tough shit, there is no one else you can go to.
