Fox liar, Geraldo Rivera, loses his shit!

The title at Raw Story: "Slowly unfolding human catastrophe’: Fox’s Geraldo Rivera blasts ‘mind-boggling’ Puerto Rico response."

Rivera (basically, shouting):
“It is a mess! It’s jammed; the main terminal is jammed, Shep, with people desperate to get out of Puerto Rico at the urging of the governor, Ricardo Rosselló. He says anybody that doesn’t have to be here should leave. The problem is there’ve been so few flights out. ...To me, it’s almost mind-boggling how slow the relief effort has been. There was one relief flight all day yesterday. ...It just doesn’t seem that the pedal has been put to the metal yet if you get my meaning. - Fox’s Geraldo Rivera reporting from Puerto Rico yesterday.

What bullshit.

I know for "a Reich-wing fact" that big-government has no role in this disaster recovery because "churches, individuals, and private charity" can handle this. That nineteenth-century system of private charities/churches/voluntary services did a much better job than any twentieth-century's welfare state with all their FEMA's and National Guard 'n shit. Why, even Utah Senator Mike Lee has said that the “alternative to big government is not small government (but instead) a voluntary civil society.” Yeah! That!

And as Paul Ayn-Ryan put it: &quot government involvement would turn the safety net) into a hammock that lulls able-bodied people into lives of dependency and complacency, that drains them of their will and their incentive to make the most of their lives.”

And we wouldn't want that now, would we?

So c'mon churches! Step up to the plate.

He is the token Hispanic on that excremental network...meant only to provide an approved message for the bosses. Anyone who works for Fox News in this day and age has no credibility when they later decide to speak out...if they have an iota of integrity, they would not work there in the first place and if they somehow were duped into it, then they are quite simply unfit for employment as a journalist at all.

Propaganda networks do not employ true journalists, they employ actors...but even actors can turn down roles.

it is the only way to save them from lives of dependency and complacency.

And as Paul Ayn-Ryan put it: "government involvement would turn the safety net) into a hammock that lulls able-bodied people into lives of dependency and complacency, that drains them of their will and their incentive to make the most of their lives.”

If being taken care of is so bad, we had better tax the rich at 90% so they won't be drained of their will.
