The worst mass shooting in the United States ever!

I went to sleep with 2 dead and 24 injured, when I woke up and the number is 50 dead and well over 400 injured, many still in critical condition. My heart aches for those victims and the families. No words can make this any easier to acknowledge. This one man turned a night out for several people into a tragic event. He was shooting from a perched spot and was able to several get shots off before law enforcement could kill him. No reasons why, answers will take time if they ever find any answers. I believe the in the 2nd Amendment, but for any one could have any could get ahold of multiple weapons that are capable of shooting several rounds, is ludicrous. Things have to change NOW! One other thing, thank you the first responders and police officers. Once again they went in to harms way to stop this carnage and save several others.

Even though Nevada law defines it as a terrorist attack. I'm livid at the moment. I have lots of friends and family in Vegas. So far all my family is accounted for, but waiting to hear from two of my friends who are big country music fans.

for a civilian to own an automatic rifle at all, let alone one that can shoot as many rounds as that one apparently did. To hell with thoughts and prayers; we need to do something to force Congress to wean themselves off of the NRA's financial teat.

I'm an atheist, so I don't pray, but my heart goes out to all of them and their families. Still, it's not enough.
