Interesting tidbit about the two cities that now have the infamous title of deadliest US shootings.

Las Vegas and Orlando are arguably the two most prominent major cities in the country whose economy and image revolve so heavily around tourism and tourist dollars.

Entirely coincidentally, they also are now where the two deadliest mass civilian shootings in US history have occurred.

And also likely coincidental but pretty glaringly ironic, in both of these cities there have opened "Gun Tourism" venues, places catering to people apparently bored of either a) gambling or b) waiting three hours in line for a ride featuring mechanical pirates could have an alternate form of entertainment. And so you go to these places and they'll give you a whole variety of weaponry, semi-automatic and fully automatic and encourage you to go to town and shoot to your hearts delight.

There's a substantial but niche segment for this type of "entertainment" and they typically end up as some of the top rated attractions on tourist sites like Trip Advisor.

It will be pretty interesting to see if there's any change at all to the notion of this as "entertainment" in these two cities.

I remember one place like that in the news where a girl's family let her handle an ar and she shot someone but never put it together with family vacation time
