My dad died last week. Now, Tom Petty is gone, and he was a favorite of mine. That's on top of everything else, plus having to deal with Trumpanzee imbeciles that have invaded my refuges. And, my geriatric kitty is continuing her downward slide... I thought 2015 was a shitty year, but this week alone has it beat by a mile when it comes to awfulness.

Losing my father was the most painful experience of my life.

I'm so pissed that this is draining the news cycle of this critically important topic. How much thousands will die in Puerto Rico that could otherwise be saved but won't be because orange assface doesn't want to spend $ on brown people and would rather they all die than he has to send in any more help. That's the most heartbreaking thing of all.

upset all day. People in Puerto Rico are suffering terribly. Another horrible useless shooting. And the Gun Lobby is still promoting their assault on the American people. And we still have that horrible a$$ in the WH.

Congress is continuing to screw us all. The world is watching and saying What the hell what happened to the USA. Mr Putin has neutralized us.

America is facing enormous crises and we are in terrible hands. We can't count on our leadership to do anything useful at this time.

And I am very doubtful that anything would happen on gun control. Hell, I'm doubtful that the shooting even happened the way it's been described. I don't know what to believe anymore.
