Appropriate times to discuss gun control?

During an event -" certainly not".

Just after an event - "are you kidding"?

Several weeks after the event - "what are you expecting us to do? Take people's guns? That unconsitutional....and no matter, Everything's fine - we are healing, don't tear away the scar - we haven't had an event in XXXX weeks."

Whoops - another event - time now? "Certainly not".

rinse (with the blood of so many innocent people), repeat ad infinitum - because the NRA owns the politicians, and there are never enough guns!

Does that capture the madness that we are currently, endlessly, locked in?

It is (and has been for some time) unbearable.

Conservatives will kindly let us know when we can talk about it.

They will also let minorities know exactly when and how to protest.
