Does anyone think Trump is losing it at a rapid pace?

A serious discussion for a serious matter.

I'm as guilty as anyone else of calling him names, getting uncontrollably angry etc. when he does or says something stupid, which is several times a day.

I notice that I have been doing that more and more lately. My frustration level cannot go any higher. The man is so bizarre, I can no longer try to justify it by calling him a narcissist, a moron, and any number of choice terms. I think he is sick. I think he is a danger. I am afraid for the world.

I think the pinnacle of his bizarre behavior was his reaction yesterday when meeting Mayor Cruz. I have a ton of respect for the good mayor, and if you contemplate and study his behavior toward her yesterday, you will understand why his actions were far worse than how they appeared on the surface (which was bad enough anyway). Briefly...mayor had to apologize to him when she did nothing wrong, mayor is working diligently and is stressed to the max trying to care for her people, mayor is trying to smooth things over with the person who attacked her in the interest of her people, etc. etc.

His response to her? A callous and hideously enunciated "thank you", and then he shunned her.

Us complaining about his behavior is just the same old same old. I seriously think that something has worsened (if that is possible) in his personality. I don't think of him as just being an asshole anymore. I think of him as being a true danger to every being on the planet.

I agree that the Trump's behavior calls for far more than name calling. The lack of situational awareness, his inability to conduct himself in a socially acceptable manner, and his obvious detachment from reality point to an organic cause. I think there is something far more serious than Trump just being an asshole. I just posted in another thread that his conduct is evidence of a mental health issue or Alzheimer's or dementia. Everyone in his circle is covering up for him, and that includes the leadership in Washington. People like Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell, who are demonstrating their lack of patriotism by putting the nation, and the world for that matter, in danger.

I can think of several of mine. His disrespect toward Khizr Khan's family, "I like people who weren't captured", and several others.

Yesterday, he hit one of those hot buttons hard. I'm trying to examine why I found him particularly insane yesterday. It has something to do with the way he looked at the mayor. Something to do with the way he shunned an individual who is working to save HIS country.

At least before, he seemed like he was trying to act like he cared during disasters, and at least try to put on the look of being presidential. It seems like he's just gotten sick of it and is saying I give up, I'm just going to act how I actually feel now.

incoherent message to pour out. The sit-down spiel that came forth yesterday at the San Juan meeting was the be all and sure as hell won't be the end all. He is totally nuts.

Ronald Reagan had serious senility issues while he was in office and redumbliCONs just cover it up and then ran amok. I agree with you, he keeps getting worse. I believe he has been this way for a long period of time. redumbliCONs once again do nothing about it and actually attempt to take advantage of it.

in complete sentences. We all should be very frightened!
The incident with Mayor Cruz was horrific as was his entire behavior. On 'Morning Joe' they are showing the tape of that encounter and ripping him to pieces. They're going to run it again because they feel it's so important.
Mika is even hinting there are forces at work to oust him because he's so unstable and dangerous.

He's about as likely to "pivot" as Mt. Everest is to rotate.

He created a feud with Mayor Cruz. He has been doing that stuff as long as I can remember. He had a very public feud with Rosie O'Donnell quite awhile back.
