I noticed something strange that I'm sure is psychosomatic.

It's taken me a while to figure out why I've been getting headaches now almost on a daily basis. Not bad headaches, annoying; a couple of Motrin knocks them right out. It happens almost immediately when I hear 45's voice. I have the TV on almost 24/7, but with the sound down. I can turn the sound up during any show at all and be fine, but as soon as I have the news on and hear 45 it hits me. Usually I mute the volume when he speaks because I can't stand the sound of his voice, but if I don't do it immediately, I swear I get a headache. I wonder if the muscles in my neck tense up or something? It feels occipital to me.

I was physically ill for the first six months after the election. I've gotten my strength back, but every time I hear 45* speak (and I try not to EVER do that), I immediately feel my energy drain completely away. Not usually a headache, but then everyone's body is different.

This man has made many people physically sick, so you're not alone.

Although I have found it harder and harder to get out of bed, especially if I don't have to work. It's a struggle. Although an introvert, I've always had many friends and enjoyed socializing. Now, it's a challenge to work myself up to go out. Sigh. With any luck, it won't be too much longer. Think about how much better we'll feel when he's out, when the GOP are disgraced.

and unreliable overall. No matter WHAT stations you tune to, by far most important news and information are not reported, and what is is usually twisted and styled to fit whatever groupthink is current or special interest imposed. My guess is a headache when hearing one voice might only be the symptom you are aware of, and definitely not the worst.

I've left the TV on all day in the past myself, needed to, so know how addicting the delusion that it's a way of being informed instead of deluded is. I'm now down to about 3 cigarettes a day, all evening programs, and avoid the daytime cable "discussion" lineups like the brain-damaging brew they are.

No to GIGO.

Or at least stains our perceptions. That should become our personal corollary to Joseph Goebbel's, "Tell a lie often enough and it becomes the truth."

A reality proven by many decades of evidence is that governments controlled by strong conservatives are normally far less fiscally competent and much more corrupt than liberal-controlled. But that they're the people we should trust with our money is a lie that has been repeated in media and socially most of my adult life as if it were a law of nature. Overriding all observations and common sense.

GIGO.

One of my best friend's dogs barking will give me a headache in about 10-seconds. I can hear trains coming long before others do.

Anytime I accidentally hear tRumps' voice, it is instantly turned off. I think if I were forced to listen for more than a minute, I would become physically ill.

Thanks for posting this - was beginning I was the only one, LOL.

Most of my senses seem to have been cranked up at notch or two, and it must be genetic. My sense of touch, smell, sight and hearing (in particular) have always been keen. Some have moderated as I've aged, and around 40-ish, my almost perfect vision started to weaken.

There are certain chemicals I'm highly sensitive to the smell of as well, including one of the vitamins or minerals in multivitamins, of all things!

As you know, these high sensitivities can be a blessing or a curse!

I already have just about every somatic symptom you can think of. My panic attacks are pretty much in check but everything else is acting up. Sigh. I'm sure it has everything to do with it. Also, my only niece is battling a heroin addiction and I'm terribly worried about her. It all adds up.

It could very well be tension, but it's also possible that your blood pressure is spiking at those times, and you don't want to fuck around with blood pressure.

I'm not kidding. If this persists, consult a physician.

While there is focus on liver and kidney damage, little is reported on weird auto-immune issues that, once triggered, will reoccur each time you take another dose. For things like lichen planus, it causes skin rashes and sores that take upwards of a year to go away--only if a person completely stops taking NSAIDs. Once the auto-immune system triggers to NSAIDs, something as small as a single dose can cause another flair-up.

Her symptoms were visible blotches on the skin and open sores or scabbing.

Then, I was at elementary school for a parent teacher conference and my daughter's teacher had a really bad case of it. It developed after she was taking 1200 US every 4-6 hours as she recuperated from a surgery she had. She went to a bunch of doctors and no one knew what was going on. I immediately identified it and asked her about NSAIDs. She stopped taking them and her skin started to clear up--but it takes a year for the auto-immune system to settle down.
