The people he visited in the hospital were chosen in advance.

The victims Trump and Melania visited were not randomly surprised with a visit. They of course volunteered. One of them had written on the white board in his room: Things that are important to me...#MAGA. They were Trump supporters.

Trump read a statement, flatly and without emotion, that someone else wrote for him. He read it with as much passion as one would read their grocery list. Nicole Wallace and her panel on MSNBC ripped him to shreds for his phony bullshit.

The whole event was a big photo op that was in fact turned into a revolting campaign commercial, one of them to a score of Lee Greenwood.

Yeah when I get shot I'll be sure to smile about it, especially if the worst person in the world shows up.

It's my dream you know.

I also noticed no one seemed to be bleeding, can't have blood in a pic with the person who pretty much unleashed the world where it's ok for people to hate right out in the open again.

They must be so proud.
