Mitt Dancing Around The Issues Volume I
The DNC released a new video hitting Mitt Romney, "the first in a series of digital products highlighting Rafalca, Romney's very own Olympic dancing horse."

(32,723 posts)Most of the rich I know have lawyers that do all the work and REPRESENT THEM.
The LAST thing the rich want is to get get a call in the middle of their backswing.

And if it's from that lawyer their first reaction is annoyance that the lawyer can't decide what's best. After all, THEY don't know what the hell it's all about. That's why they hire lawyers! Hell, they even hire lawyers to look over the shoulders of their lawyers.

(32,723 posts)so we don't even know their names.
The ones that get me are the ones who operate under a tax exempt "foundation".
The only thing the "foundation" does is hand out awards for themselves for doing such a good job.
Oh,....and they'll sponsor some kid somewhere in the Third World for cover....
You know,....an extra bowl of rice and a blanket....

(13,776 posts)It seems to be making his excuses for him. Logically, you're right, but I also think that if it were actually true that he didn't manage his own money, it would explain why he doesn't know where it is, etc. We all know that line is bullshit and that he knows exactly what his money is doing, but the average voter might not.
I also must have missed the part of the ad where they say anything about Rafalca being a $77K tax deduction. Or that the video is of Romney's horse (do most people who aren't on DU know that Romney owns a million-dollar dressage horse? I suspect not). I think there were some missed opportunities with this ad.
On the positive side, the clips of Romney himself make him look like the weasel that he is.

(26,219 posts)The timing of the Olympics (visual tie to his nonsense when they promote the horse), the boos during the debate, and the CLASSIC look on Frothy's face, complete with raised eyebrows and the "told you so" eyeroll.
Well done, DNC!!
