As we have seen, the only person who speaks for 45 is 45. Nobody else knows anything until after the fact.

At this point, everyone seems to think he'll be indicted. testifying would reduce his jail time.

Trump will just say Manafort is lying. He'll deny deny deny. We've seen it repeatedly. I think he would only resign if the police cars are on the way to arrest him, or Republicans in Congress tell him they are about to vote to impeach him.

evidence to the contrary, who blatantly lies about any number of things that there is direct evidence of to the contrary. Trump lies. That's what he does.

It also hasn't hurt him to be a liar. He won the election doing just that.

That's part of how his mentor trained him. You never admit defeat. You always claim you won, even if you didn't. You state the truth as you want it to be. All of this because people will remember what you said, and that "truth" you presented will be what they remember. They won't remember evidence to the contrary.

He has nothing to lose by lying. His supporters WILL believe him. Now, if he's under oath, that's a more serious matter. He may not lie if he's under oath.
