Are the public revelations of Weinstein's troubles setting the stage for Trump dirt?

Harvey Weinstein's problems have been called an "open secret" - and now the NYT is giving it some extra amperage in the media.

I guess Obama has some sort of relationship with him...White House visits at least.

Not too crazy to think the timing of the article was Harvey taking one for the team - one he knew was coming.

But let it be timed with the release of something from Mueller.

Recent rumblings about the Russian Dossier...followed by this...

Clearly the Harvey Weinstein matter has brought the Access Hollywood/Billy Bush tapes back into the media...thats good.

The idea being, making everyone go "ewww gross" - and especially the right, who will take the bait because he was a Hollywood guy...

So if something similarly salacious came out of the Russian Dossier - Trump would look just as gross...

This creep contributed to dems and they must have heard of his problems, yet took his money anyway. Why is it that people in power look the other way when a check is written? There is a real underbelly here that hides the overt and covert abuse of women and the habit of our society to turn the other cheek. It says so much about the status of women. I am glad this is getting the attention it deserves, but it only serves to highlight the problems women face no matter who has power. That is also an open secret and one dems at all levels need to come to terms with. I doubt HW was "taking one for the team." He must have lost some of his power to intimidate.
