Jimmy Kimmel responds to RW billboard/bus stop ads

But the Conservatives are now fighting back against Kimmel. That’s right. Just because he showed compassion that did not align with their cause, Kimmel has become a target among conservatives. In fact, Conservative street artist, “Sabo,” has created billboards around Los Angeles that are meant to attack Kimmel’s empathy for the lives lost in what is now the deadliest mass shooting in modern American history.

In short, Saba is trying to assert that Kimmel is a pansy because he showed emotion and empathy. These qualities are feminine to the artist, who clearly has an idea about toxic masculinity. The artist is almost suggesting that emotions and being a woman is a bad thing. But what’s new with the Republicans? Anyways, the billboards read: “The Jimmy Kimmel Estrogen Hour,” “The Jimmy Kimmel Show: Man Boobs and Estrogen,” and featured the talk show host made up to look like Johnny Depp in the John Waters movie, “Cry Baby.”

I'd say it if a Dem did that kind of crap and tried to call it art too. It's not a statement. It's just an insult.

were paid for by $$$ flowing from RW billionaires?

And whaddya wanna bet that if a liberal artist wanted to rent billboard space to post equally strident graphics attacking any RW figure (I can't think of a RW comic comparable in stature to Kimmel, because, well, there aren't any) the answer from the billboard company would be a big, fat NO? I seem to recall instances in the past where non-conservative points of view were denied the right to buy ad space.

We live in the most heavily propagandized country in the history of the world. And look where it's gotten us.

Comparing Kimmel to a woman exposes their fundamental misogyny: Women are weak and emotional to them, and no doubt other negative perceptions.

This is why this country is going down the drain. It can be dressed up as anything they want to but the bottom line is that not giving two shits about anybody not in front of your nose is 100% acceptable and A-OK for far too many Americans.
