From 1992-1996 I worked in a fairly peripheral arm of the movie industry, but close enough that I knew people that had dealings with him and Miramax (his company at the time). And even to my coworkers and I and almost everyone we worked with his behavior was well known and frequently discussed and even then there were many horror stories.

And keep in mind that 1)This was still a time period when this type of behavior was considered a semi-normal part of Hollywood and so for it to be noteworthy it must have risen well beyond the pathetic standards of the time, and 2) This was not quite yet at the height of his success. I can only imagine how much worse he got in the ensuing years.

Good riddance you bag of shit.

If you google Harvey Weinstein and Rose McGowan or Ashley Judd that should give you an idea. A lot of typically horrible casting couch bullshit. Taking meetings in his hotel room, taking meetings with women while he was naked, out and out sexual harassment (sleep with me or you won't get the job), and in some cases out and out rape. Again, the fact that it was so well known means it had to have risen to the level of being beyond the norm of hollywood type producer sleaze.
