'Fox & Friends' calls GOP senator's criticism of Trump 'disrespectful' and 'self-serving'

BY MALLORY SHELBOURNE - 10/09/17 08:41 AM EDT

Hosts of Fox News’ “Fox & Friends” on Monday slammed Sen. Bob Corker's (R-Tenn.) Twitter criticism of President Trump after a feud between the two became increasingly personal over the weekend.

“Whatever Bob Corker thought he could have done it personally and privately,” host Brian Kilmeade said.

“The president takes his calls. They golf together, so to go public with these critiques – I just, I think it’s self-serving.”

Ainsley Earhardt, another host of the show, called Corker’s tweet “disrespectful.”

More people have to do it. While it might seem disrespectful to the President, it's entirely respectful to the country and our democracy.

He deserved this and at least a daily heaping dose of Corker-like comments, wish his party had the guts to follow suit.

This type of behavior is unacceptable and I'm glad Corker fought back. Trump is nothing more than an infantile bully.

that doesn't count as obama was black and his conservative critics were almost 100% white
