OK-Inhofe-R 86 years old
2022
AL-Shelby-R 88 years old
AZ-McCain-R 86 years old if he is able to serve out his term. unlikely to seek re-election.

He did serve out most of his term (re-elected in 2008, served until his death in 2013).

I am against people being pushed out due to age if they still have it. I really wish that people like Feinstein, Biden, Sanders would mentor a younger person and step aside, but they seem to want to stay in the ring.

If there is work being done to bring in young people to the political party to seek office, including her own.
When I say “young” I don’t mean 50 or 60 yr olds, I mean 20 and 30 and 40 year olds.

The average age of senators has been creeping up each year (now 63.1) and the average length in office has been as well (13.1) and the majority are still white males.
(In comparison the average person works for a company for 4.4 yrs)
It should also not escape notice that all of those people in the OP are republicans.

To be successful when need to be more proactive and get young people involved in politics and not cluster our leadership at the top for decades.

They're a group that encourages millennial Democrats to run for office. They've got a few running for the VA state house this year but most are local offices.

Not sure what next year's races will look like.

and may cost us our chance to take back the House which is imperative to stop the GOP from causing additional harm. How about putting on your big girl and boy pants and running against Republicans... that means seats held by Republicans and help in the effort to take back the House? Primarying sitting Democrats is a foolish idea at the moment. We have nothing to gain by taking a Democratic seat and everything to lose by not taking a Republican seat.

I still want Feinstein to win, although I was hoping she would leave it to the next generation.

Maybe she will retire while Brown is still governor.

Thanks to damn hard work and Senate seniority, Diane Feinstein is a very powerful and well-connected Senator, which is a tremendous advantage for California.

. Kamala Harris,OTOH, has a Senate career largely in potentia. She is a freshman Senator, starting at the bottom of the ladder. I'd just as soon keep DiFi until she retires.

When we have nothing-we are losing the courts, we have lost the House, Senate and presidency...thanks to 33,000 votes spread among three states (Stein voters were the margin)...trying to kick out a powerful incumbent for a no power junior Senator is stupid...a waste of time and money...I have carefully noted which groups are engaged in this assault against sitting Democrats...and plan to withhold money from them and condemn them in every social media outlet I engage in...quite a few. Fight Republicans not Democrats.

Our Revolution, Move On (primarying Tim Ryan and others-not sending them one dime anymore),We Will Replace You, Justice Democrats...to name a few. There are others. Many are disaffected voters who were angered when Hillary became the nominee and now have a score to settle with the Democratic Party. They could end up re-electing Trump and enough GOP types to get Trump's agenda through. If we lose Manchin...we lose Obamacare.

Especially if both Dems were able to get into the top-2. Then, Republican enthusiasm would diminish and they might stay home on E-Day helping us in many of the Congressional Races we need to win to have a chance at taking back the house.

And Diane, unlike Senator Cole, has years of experience that has put her in a powerful leadership position -- which is very good for California. Voters there should think twice about replacing her with a newbie, and losing the advantages her status gives the state.
