in order raise funds for 45's upcoming legal defense under the guise of the 2020 campaign. If 45 has one talent, it's for shameless money laundering.
At least he's not ripping off money people thought they were donating to St. Jude's to cure pediatric cancer this time.

It's obvious that team Trump is acutely aware of some erosion of support with his base. That's why this flag controversy and the walking back on immigration are front and center. Unlike healthcare and tax reform, this is low hanging fruit to win them back.
