Pence's Quarter Million Dollar Political Stunt

Pence's political stunt, from figures I have seen bandied about, cost US taxpayers about a quarter million dollars. A quarter million dollars for a ridiculous, cynical political stunt, a quarter million dollars worth of political red meat thrown to Trump's deplorable base. I put this in perspective for myself: it would take my whole salary for the next DECADE to pay for this debacle. And this from the supposed party of "fiscal responsibility." Surely this will make at least a few people finally stand up and question Republican notions of "fiscal responsibility."

Sickening to me as well is that millions of the same people who are perfectly pleased with this overpriced act of sham patriotism are fine taking food and healthcare from sick and starving Americans. I saw a wingnutter today actually call the concerns and needs of poor and homeless people "Big Poverty" as if it were an industry. Yet not a peep about the quarter million WASTED on a political sham. I wonder how many starving children could have been fed on that quarter million. Sickening.

pegged the numbers between 600k and 1 million depending on how you apply cost based on miles flown and hours in the air.

Wow, a million dollars for the football stunt.
When Americans are still struggling to over come the aftermath of natural disasters.

I can't even imagine the logistics involved for a VP visit to a packed NFL stadium

For everything involved on the ground and in the air, I think even 1 million is low balling it

coming from the DC types claiming this stunt could well be much much higher.

When Dingle Berry Donnie goes to Florida,it costs somewhere near 3 Mil.

Such cheap theatrics, a school child should be able to see through it. I'll be adding this to my list of reasons why Americans need to be taught better critical thinking.

At first I was all for Pence paying up himself, but it's obvious now this rethugs in general. They should have to pay. Heck, I'm fine if the Kochs pay it, so long as taxpayers aren't footing the bill.
