http://nypost.com/2017/10/08/trump-i-was-having-fun-throwing-paper-towels-in-puerto-rico/

In a friendly interview with Mike Huckabee for the Trinity Broadcasting Network, Trump said he’s done a “great job” helping Puerto Rico and was just having fun when he started tossing paper towel rolls at hurricane victims.

“There was a crowd of a lot of people and they were screaming and loving everything and I was having fun,” Trump said his visit to San Juan Tuesday. “They were having fun. They were saying: ‘throw them to me, throw them to me, Mr. President. And so…the next day they said, ‘oh, it was so disrespectful to the people.’ It’s just a made up thing.”

Huckabee, the former Arkansas governor and father of Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders, agreed.

“You were a rock star,” Huckabee said.

In a country that was devastated, he & the Huck made light of it. And republicans still support him. There is a huge segment of our country that has no goddamned clue or just don't fucking care what the words human decency mean.

He doesn't care about hurricane victims, earthquake victims, wildfire victims or victims of insane gunmen. He just doesn't give a shit. If it doesn't affect him personally, it doesn't matter to him. He will never change. Someone might hand him a script to make him sound good, but he will never really care about any of these people. They aren't real to him.

It sounds like maybe you will.

Several years ago, there was a fire in San Bernardino County and we had smoke here in southern NV. When we had a wildfire between LV and Pahrump, the smoke was so thick that you couldn't see The Strip from the 215 - which you could ordinarily see clearly any time day or night.

So the smoke where you are must be just awful!

So I'm safe for now but don't know if that will hold or not. It looks like the winds are dying down so that should allow the fire fighters to contain it. But traffic, restaurants and the supermarkets are all affected by this. It's pretty much chaos in Anaheim Hills right now.

Right down the 241 from you in Foothill Ranch. Been through two, 98 and 07, they aren't fun. Main thing is to stay calm and have a great plan to get out. Nothing in your house matters, actually very humbling, everything that really matters fits in the trunk of your car as long as you get your family, neighbors, and pets out early.

57. Trump is underscoring that he is not President of the US
Tue Oct 10, 2017, 08:26 PM
Oct 2017

Trump is just emphasizing that he is not the president of the United States he is the president of the states that voted for him. California is probably singled out for special score and since California is the state that he lost by over 3 million bucks.

Trump has already cemented himself in history as the worst President of the United States Since the founding of the republic I really didn’t think anybody could beat George W. Bush this badly but Bush is at best a distant second.

He is showing very clearly that the only states that will get aid are those whosevelectoral votes he received. Puerto Rico does not have any electoral votes and we’ve seen what has happened with them. California, well you guys voted for the right candidate and you’re getting punished for it.

I’m so sorry that this is happening to such a great state. My daughter lives out there but she’s not in any danger as far as I know. She doesn’t live in an area that can be affected by those kind of fires. But the state is being decimated by global warming and the resulting drought and the fires that come with that.

I’m not much for prayer but I find myself praying that something brings this to an end. How much more can our country stand?
