43 dead in Puerto Rico due to Maria? I call bullshit

On average 80 Puerto Ricans die a day even when there's food, water, power and medical acess/hospitals in working order.

There are reports of violent people stealing the supplies they want. Unsurprising when you're playing tropical Mad Max.

Every single death that counts maria as a contributing factor must be acknowledged.

This is like the huge heatwave that happened in Chicago where hundreds of elderly people cooked to death , which the coroner attributed to natural causes. They were old and poor so Fck it, amirite?

Utter bullshit and a complete disrespect for the people who are losing their lives in this horrific shit show.

They're undercounting these numbers of dead American citizens by at least a factor of 10. This is I think a generous estimate by the way...

The combination of anger and anguish is going to give me a stroke.

The haven't been able to find, autopsy and confirm many of the deaths. But in our 24/7 news cycle there is a push to put out information. So they put out what they can confirm.

It'll turn out that tens of thousands will have perished. There are only 43 confirmed dead because of the massive destruction of the power grid and the fact that the authorities in PR haven't been able to reach the countryside.

I'm sure that there are countless deaths that haven't been confirmed.
